The owners who turned up at the  Richmond Park MC's AGM last Saturday opted against the  controversial bylaw which empowered the MC to act as real estate co-broker in renting or selling any of the apartment in the development. Other proposed bylaw which  requires residents to use trolley cages for the transport of  their dogs in the common area was also turned down.

The proposed bylaw concerning dogs  was drawn because residents had long put up with irresponsible dog owners who do not pick up their pets' droppings. The owners now asked the MC to provide for designated bins in the common area for the disposal of  dogs' excreta and designated a lift for pets owners to travel with their pets.

It was reported that the MC may now look into a voluntary scheme for co-broking renting or selling of the apartments.
